Procerin XT Foam Review

Similar to Revivogen but with a less extensive formula

What is Procerin XT?

Procerin XT is the topical hair loss product offered by Speedwinds Nutrition. It is a foam product that must be applied daily to one's hair.

Procerin XT Ingredients

A Bottle of Procerin XT

Procerin XT is a consists of: Oleic Acid, Saw Palmetto Extract, Grapeseed Extract (Procyanidin Oligomers), Pygeum Bark, Linoleic and Alpha Linolenic Acid, Stinging Nettle Extract, and Azelaic Acid. All these ingredients are helpful in combating hair loss and the benefits of oleic acid and azelaic acid have been touted in many studies.

DHT typically binds to androgen receptors at the hair follicle. The topical application of gamma-linoleic acid suppresses these androgen receptors. What it does is it out competes for spaces in androgen receptors that can otherwise detect DHT. All the other linoleic acids, unfortunately, are not active DHT blockers and are included in the formula needlessly. [Source 1] Gamma linoleic acid should have been included instead of linoleic and alpha-linoleic acid.

Oleic acid, which is converted to alazeic acid in the body, can be combined with zinc sulfate to form a potent 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor. [Source 2]

This has only been proven in test tubes and may be different in actual human trials.

Saw palmetto, pygeum, and stinging nettle have all been observed to diminish the effects of DHT. [Source 3]

Procyandin has been shown to increase hair diameter. The actual mechanism of action is not known. [Source 4]

Saw palmetto, pygeum, and stinging nettle have all been observed to diminish the effects of DHT.

Does Procerin XT Work!?

Procerin XT's ingredients do block DHT and it has some ingredients that promote hair growth. At about $30 a bottle it is comparable to Revivogen. However you'd get more for your money if you went with Reviogen as it has more ingredients.

Is Procerin XT Safe?

Yes, Revivogen's ingredients are all natural and are applied topically. Most of the product will not be absorbed into the body. Even if it is, the ingredients are natural and are easily broken down..

Overall Rating:

/

If you are looking for a topical solution we recommend Revivogen because it contains more DHT-blocking and hair growth promoting ingredients. If you decide to go with this regiment you should combine this with a DHT-blocking supplement for the best results.

If you are really in a jam then Toppik fibers will make it look like you have a full head of hair immediately.
